I've had this one for a while and I think it's time for change... any

| Ok, so I actualy got home last night about 11.30 but I was too tired to update last night... so here goes...
This year, it was amazing! I got alot out of the speakers.
My favorite, by far was Phil Chalmers. He did this "sermon"
called "Bang, Bang, You're Dead". It was about the evil in the
media industry and how things that we don't even think about influence
us. He a bunch of screen shots from video games like Grand Theft
Auto, Max Payne, and other game's primarily based on violence and
things like that. I made me realize how jaded I've become to all
of the blatent violence that people are shoving in the faces of
10-year-olds...it's absolutely scary. I mean, I'm not much on
video games (Super Mario Bros.!!  ) But I was suprised to see
all this stuff... he also took a bunch of lyrics from different songs
by bands and rappers like 50 Cent, ICP, Snoop Dogg, Maralyn Manson, and
I don't listen to ALOT of rap and mostly the stuff I do is christian
Rap because I know how bad secular rap is most of the time. But I
had no idea on some of the stuff he showed us... "Slit throats of just
hoes…girlfriend had a miscarriage, I'm sorry I had to eat it"

dead…keep your b*tch in place…I’ma send her home with a footprint on

by Slipknot...wow, that shook me up a little bit. Wanna hear
something really scary? This is stuff that 12-year-old kids are
listening to and singing along with every word. Now, I'm big on
censorship. Censorship is not my america. They have a right
to say that stuff if they want. But that doesn't mean that we
should sit by idley and just let them poison the young, fragile minds
of today's youth. Some one has to take a stand and say "We will
not let you corrupt us like this. We will stop buying your
records, going to your shows, wearing your shirts, and supporting your
mission in your music, games, and movies. You will be shut
down.". And I think that that has been put off for far too
long. It's time to take a stand against the evil in this world...

| So, I leave for CIY in like.... *counts on fingers* 5-5.1/2
hours! I'm sooo excited!! This year is gonna be sooo
rad...I'm excited! What's even better, Rachel and Dannie D are
coming down to see Jeremy and myself off!! That makes me happy
and sad... 'cause I'll get to see Rachel before I leave, but I'll leave
for week.... It's gonna be ok though,
I think. I got a calling card so I can call her a few times
during the week, that's cool, I guess. but I must go. Of
course my mom didn't start packing till yesterday and now she's all
frantic and crap, so, yeah... see you all in about a
